Colorco History

Colorco was founded in 1964 by the late William Frenchu. Mr. Frenchu was one of the foremost pioneers of the plastics coloring business, and seized upon the need to provide color and additive components for the rapidly growing plastics industry. He started out formulating custom dry color, but soon expanded his product line to include a number of revolutionary color concentrates. Mr Frenchu's products were acclaimed by the giants of the plastics industry, and Colorco quickly became the largest independently owned manufacturer of color concentrates and dry color in the world. In 1982, he founded Coloflo Inc., further expanding his product line to include PVC dispersions and liquid colorant.

Colorco Today

Today, color concentrates remain the primary focus of Colorco's business. We continue to push the limits of innovation, striving for higher loads, unparalled dispersion and physical properties, easier processability and clean-up, and a multitude of visually appealing effects that catch the eye. While many of our competitiors have modeled themselves after us, Colorco has remained at the forefront with unmatched performance, quality, service, and turnaround time.
